Foundations & Flow is a great place to start or return to if you’d like to learn the basics of hoop dance. In this series, we start with foundational movements with our hoop and gradually build into a flow. Come, and explore many movements that will strengthen your body, relax your mind and open you up to new possibilities
This series is for intermediate and advanced students who have a solid foundation on and off body*. I continually change up the movements I teach in this course to keep things fresh. Taking Foundations & Flow and Grow Your Groundwork at least once is highly recommended before diving in to Hoop to New Heights!
*Proficient shoulder hooping is strongly recommended for this course
This series is designed to connect you to your breath, your body’s innate wisdom of play and open you up to a flow state. In Movement Meditation & the Hoop we explore the energy centers of the body with and without the hoop through mindful movement and music. Reduce stress, release tension, get out of your head and come home to your body.
And at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling.
